Ana DeJesus 

The simple act of bringing light to people’s lives brings me endless satisfaction. I’m Ana De Jesus, Director of Recreation. I hold a BA degree in Science as well as a minor degree in Youth Service from Lehman College. My passion for Recreational Therapy began in a Geriatric Center years ago. In my personal experience and observation throughout my career, I have learned that living without leisure time is like living without purpose.



My purpose as Director of Recreation is to serve, and to bring joy and hope to individuals in those difficult times, to make the individuals with limitations and disabilities feel loved, appreciated and be aware that they do matter. I look at everyone equally which is by their individual abilities and not at their disabilities. My education and experiences have allowed me to ensure and assist that patients achieve highest practicable psycho-social and spiritual well-being.
